A foggy day, in london town

Okay, so not necessarily foggy, but cloudy...it's not depressing persay, but i miss the sun D:  Oh man, so today was market shopping day @ walthomstow market.  It was a long street filled with vendors selling anything you wanted XD  It's pretty neat, 'specially since we don't really have outdoor markets in sofla.  It hasn't rained [yet] but it is colder here...I'm glad I brought my scarf.  At the market I bought a collared shirt with an attached vest for research [we must address in casual business attire], a couple of long skirts [one for me, one for jackie], and a jacket for warren [which is really comfy].  It's kinda annoying trying to buy something for everyone, especially when it's more expensive here, and our dollar is worth less @_@  looks like most people are getting post cards...

Yeah, i basically have to work during the summer to earn back the money i'm spending here...i'm soo thankful i have a place to stay in in london; right now, a roundtrip ticket to paris is $165 [109pounds], but melly and i are hopefully just gonna find a cheap hostel.  But I'm reallllyyy excited to go to paris - get a baguette, see the louvre and the tour de eiffel.  Crap.  I think the amazing tickets i found earlier for the train are no longer there - i couldnt buy them with my credit card cause it's nopt a european one >.<  oh, that's an annoyance btw - i can't widthdraw money from atms; i did it at the airport, but i cant any where else...i have to look at wachovia and see whats up~

we also went to the mall that was next to the market.  that was pretty interesting.  there were a lot more stores here dedicated to just guys than in the states [do we have any?]  also there 'gamestop' here is just called 'game.'   i found that hilarious.  but maybe that's just me.   in the mall, there was also a little cart called 'magic corn' where they sold cups of corn with different toppings.  I really wanted to get a cup :D

tomorrow melly and i are exploring mid-london; going to soho, and oxford street.  and we're also going to the cinema, as they say.  it should be another funfilled day~

*update:  we got train tickets @99 euros a person, so that was cool :]

getting kicked off the compie, cause melly's waiting for spence spence to call via skype.  and here he is.

miss warren, uh, and dont forget to tell about melly's veggie story :D
