blogage~

okie, so it was quite an eventful day today...this morning i woke up sick, so i missed going out with melly and her cousin d by an hour...but i caught up; i managed to take the bus and metro all by myself~~  yeah, i dunno why i threw up, but i did.  oh well.

we went to oxford street, which reminds me of 5th ave in NY...SO many shops!  and they're all open - like, the doors are open completely so you can just walk in and out.  it was really fun; we also met up with melly's other cousin liz.  i spent SO much money.  this trip is costing me so much.  i need to work work work when i get home x_x  but hey, its not like every day i'm in england!  [**ps. right now melly is pretty drunk XD]  finally got my atm thingy fixed.  they put a lock on my account 'cause i didn't notify them i was going overseas...which is fine, better safe than sorry~  oh!  and today was the first day i saw the sun in london; it was nice.  okie, so going a little backwards on what i wanted to talk about.  jeans here are about the same if not cheaper than jeans at home.  this one store, primark, was ridiculous!  it was like, forever 21 on steroids.  i bought a pair of jeans for 12$, though some were only 6$!  food seems more expensive here; like my half of a sub and a drink was 6$.  um, what else...i reminded myself to write about the underground, but i'm not sure what i wanted to say...the seats are nicer than NY's subways, and yeah.  there's a warren street XD  i took a picture of the sign.  driving here is also ridiculous.  it reminds me of driving in jamaica, how everyone is uberclose together.  i was on the double decker bus today and thought we were gonna hit people like 5 different times.  the roads here are wayyy to narrow, mainly so because they parallel park on either side on the road.  i got whistled at on the bus today.  interesting.

so clubbing.  melly and i went with her cousins to a club called Yatess.  it was pretty fun.  the coolest thing about it was that we got to legally drink!  melly and i got a pint of fosters each, then split a pint of bulmers, which was this apple beer, and reeallly good.  guys kept trying to hit on melly, and since i was with her, me too.  some dude and his friend tried to kiss us and we're like nooooo we dont think our bfs would like that XD  we caught the bus home, and ironically i sobered up more than melly ~~  oh, forgot to say, whilst shopping today, some guy working at a shop we were at thought we were french, but when we said we were from america, hes like 'ohh theres something sexy about american girls!'  it was entertaining.  this is prolly the most i've ever been directly/indirectly hit on XD

diversity:  i keep forgetting to mention.  its really diverse here.  lots of black people, lots of middle eastern and indian people - its nice to see a blend.  though i dont think there are a lot of asian people; i've seen a few, but most seemed fobby to me :P  though i heard this one asian guy speaking in a british accent and it was funny ^^

i know its only been a few days, but i'm already kinda homesick.  both melly and i really miss our boyfriends :/  we're having lots of fun, but sometimes we just get that nostalgic feeling.  oh, another random thing; whilst on the bus tonight, melly once again attracted weird guys.  two guys from poland sitting behind us started talking to us, asked us to go for a drink XD  obviously we declined.  patrick and ralph.  they waved to us when we got off the bus.

uh, yeah.  dunno what we're doing tomorrow.  i'll write though~
